We stayed here for our honeymoon. we stayed here the first and last night with our four kids, they loved it and are already asking to come back again! the two nights in between were just the two of us. this is a very cozy, welcoming, and romantic cabin! 10/10 will be back again! Frank was very responsive when we needed him. He was very helpful and kind. The cabin is beautiful.

Absolutely amazing place. Everything is just as it looks in the pictures! the hot tub was the best part for sure! the place is extremely clean and we felt super safe here. this was me and my boyfriends first vacation together and we had such a great time. I cannot wait to book again!

My friends and I had a blast at this adorable cottage. The view of the lake is breathtaking and it’s so quiet and peaceful. The beds were super comfy and the whole place is well stocked and they have just thought of everything. Frank was super responsive and we wanted for nothing. We had so much fun making dinners in the completely stocked kitchen, relaxing in the hot tub, chilling outside, and using the kayaks. I highly recommend this place and would definitely book again!

The place was perfect. Clean cozy and great location. Our only negative was the bathroom door had some trouble closing all the way/ couldn’t close all the way. But I addressed that with the host and they should have that resolved.

This is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway, and we loved that our dog could join us. We really enjoyed the river view and hot tub. The deck is shaded most of the day so even on hot days it felt comfortable. The house is thoughtfully decorated, clean, and cozy, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The blackstone was a huge plus. There are neighbors nearby but it’s very quiet and private. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful time! The pictures shown were right on the mark, beautiful & updated interior. The river was a bit chilly to go all the way in, but it was perfect to dip my feet in after enjoying some sun on the patio. The yard was spacious for my dog to explore and the hot tub was a great final touch to end our evenings.

This is the perfect cottage for a peaceful, comfortable retreat. The picturesque view of the river, sounds of nature and quiet ambiance are truly soul filling. We loved making a fire, soaking in the hot tub and fishing the Muskegon River. Great place to make memories with your people!

The cottage is the perfect escape for anyone looking to relax in nature. The river is beautiful and full of wildlife. We were lucky to see a falcon and a bald eagle! The accommodations are cozy. The cottage and bunkhouse are both very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our time!

Maybe it was the bald eagle flying up the river each morning as we had breakfast. Maybe it was the giant snapping turtle lolling in the river slurping crayfish. It could have been the big deck or the hot tub with the river view, the impeccably stocked kitchen, or the airy common spaces. Whatever made it so, this home is more retreat than rental. The hosts are perfectly attentive without being intrusive. The property has neighbors but is sufficiently isolated from them to ensure privacy. And it's quiet enough that nature is right at home, from deer sipping from the river to mayflies alighting on the screen door. If you're looking for a top notch escape within reasonable reach of city amenities, you can't go wrong here

If you’re on the fence of renting this location, I can confirm it is worth every penny! The cabin is beautiful, gorgeous interior and exterior, kitchen stocked with appliances, and the view of the river is breath taking. Frank and Kaylee are wonderful host! They responded quickly and are extremely kind! We enjoyed every minute of our stay and plan on returning in the future!
