Our modern-rustic cottage is designed for comfort and connection. The open-plan living area features a cozy couch with a pull-out memory foam mattress, a Roku TV for your streaming services, and a collection of board games for fun-filled evenings. Gather for meals at the large dining room table with seating for your entire group. KEY FEATURES: Fully Equipped Kitchen: Prepare delicious home-cooked meals with a full suite of cookware, a coffee pot, a tea kettle, and a blender. Please note, the cottage uses hard well water; we recommend bringing bottled water for drinking. Primary Bedroom: Unwind in a comfortable queen bed with a hotel-grade mattress. This room also includes a desk for any work needs! Loft Bedroom: The cozy loft, overlooking the lake, offers two twin beds—a perfect space for kids or additional guests. Renovated Bathroom: Refresh in the newly renovated, modern bathroom, complete with a walk-in shower. We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, as well as a full set of bath and beach towels. OUTDOOR LIVING & LAKE ACCESS: Step outside to your private oasis. The spacious deck includes a propane Blackstone grill and comfortable seating, with bistro lighting. After a day of adventure, soak in the 6-person hot tub overlooking the peaceful waters. Your stay includes direct access to Lake Forest for great fishing or exploring with our provided kayaks and a pedal boat. Please note the water amenities are not available when the dock is winterized, normally November through late April, or early May, depending on the weather! The lake has a natural shoreline with lily pads and mud. We provide beach towels but strongly recommend you bring water shoes. We provide life jackets for your safety, but please remember to swim at your own risk.
Other Details to Note
Security Cameras: For your safety and to verify service visits, there are three exterior security cameras on the property. Two face the road and driveway, and one is a doorbell camera. They are active and recording but do not monitor any private guest areas such as the deck or hot tub. Rental Agreement: Acknowledgment of our rental agreement is required prior to your arrival. This will be sent to you for your review and signature upon booking confirmation. Pets: If you are bringing a pet, a $75 pet fee will be applied.

Guest Access
Guests will have private access to the entire cottage and its property. This includes the main house, the spacious outdoor deck, the 6-person hot tub, and direct access to the lakefront. You will have a private entrance and ample parking in the dedicated driveway at the end of a private dirt road.
