Our modern-rustic cottage is designed for comfort and connection. The open-plan living area features a cozy couch with a pull-out memory foam mattress, a Roku TV for your streaming services, and a collection of board games for fun-filled evenings. Gather for meals at the large dining room table with seating for your entire group. KEY FEATURES: Fully Equipped Kitchen: Prepare delicious home-cooked meals with a full suite of cookware, a coffee pot, a tea kettle, and a blender. Please note, the cottage uses hard well water; we recommend bringing bottled water for drinking. Primary Bedroom: Unwind in a comfortable queen bed with a hotel-grade mattress. This room also includes a desk for any work needs and a safe for your valuables. Loft Bedroom: The cozy loft, overlooking the lake, offers two twin beds—a perfect space for kids or additional guests. Renovated Bathroom: Refresh in the newly renovated, modern bathroom, complete with a walk-in shower. We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, Q-tips, and a full set of bath, makeup, and beach towels. OUTDOOR LIVING & LAKE ACCESS: Step outside to your private oasis. The spacious deck includes a propane Blackstone grill and comfortable seating, with string lights for magical evenings. After a day of adventure, soak in the luxurious 6-person hot tub overlooking the peaceful waters. Your stay includes direct access to Lake Forest for great fishing or exploring with our provided kayaks and a pedal boat. Please note: Kayaks and the pedal boat are available in the Spring/Summer and stored for the winter starting November 1. The lake has a natural shoreline with lily pads and mud. We provide beach towels but strongly recommend you bring water shoes. For swimming, we suggest using a kayak or the pedal boat to reach deeper waters.
Other Details to Note
Security Cameras: For your safety and to verify service visits, there are three exterior security cameras on the property. Two face the road and driveway, and one is a doorbell camera. They are active and recording but do not monitor any private guest areas such as the deck or hot tub. Rental Agreement: Acknowledgment of our rental agreement is required prior to your arrival. This will be sent to you for your review and signature upon booking confirmation. Pets: If you are bringing a pet, a $75 pet fee will be applied.

Guest Access
Guests will have private access to the entire cottage and its property. This includes the main house, the spacious outdoor deck, the 6-person hot tub, and direct access to the lakefront. You will have a private entrance and ample parking in the dedicated driveway at the end of a private dirt road.
